He accused Governor Uzodimma of undermining this mechanism established by law.”Senator Uzodimma must, without any further delay, disclose the whereabouts of the N206 billion received on behalf of the local governments,” Opurozor asserted. He further lamented the dire consequences of this alleged misappropriation, particularly given that over 70 percent of Imo State’s population resides in rural areas. According to him, the vital means through which governance can reach the people has been decimated.The PDP spokesperson also highlighted a recent shift in the state’s political climate, noting that the government has resorted to spreading misinformation, lies, and deceit as part of a potential strategy to secure victory in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for November 11, 2023.
