The official Twitter account of the US Mission, @UsinNigeria, promptly confirmed Secretary Fudge’s arrival in a tweet.Similarly, the Canadian delegation, headed by the Minister for Housing and Diversity and Inclusion, Hussein Ahmed, has also landed in the country. The Canadian High Commission, in a tweet from @CanadaInNigeria, shared this information with the public.Furthermore, among those who have already arrived are the Presidents of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune; Rwanda’s Paul Kagame; Adamu Barrow from Gambia; Denis Nguesso from Congo Barazzaville; and Évariste Ndayishimiye from Burundi. They join other distinguished leaders, including President Nana Akufo Addo of Ghana, President Samia Hassan of Tanzania, and President Mahamat Déby of Chad, among several others.Additionally, a delegation from France, led by Minister Delegate for Development, Francophonie, and International Partnerships, Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, has been confirmed to have arrived in Abuja, further adding to the international presence at the ceremony.Notably, India’s Defence Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh, has also landed in Abuja to partake in the inauguration proceedings.
