Police arrest ‘one-chance’ syndicate in Lagos, rescue victim
Two members of a syndicate that robbed unsuspecting passengers with their cars have been arrested by the Police Command in Lagos State. The arrest was confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday. The suspects were identified as 36-year-old Folashade Sholagbe and 29-year-old Seun Oke. They were apprehended in the Ikeja area of the state by eagle-eyed officers of Iju Division, following their victim’s scream for help. Hundeyin revealed that the suspects used a Corolla car to pick up unsuspecting passengers and rob them of their valuables, particularly at 7up by Toll gate.
