Serbia School Shooting Leaves 9 Dead and 7 Injured, says Ministry
On Wednesday, the Serbian Interior Ministry announced that a total of nine people have died and seven more have been injured in a school shooting in Belgrade. The shooting took place in the Vrachar municipality, located in the center of the Serbian capital. According to the police report, a 14-year-old teenager was suspected to be the shooter, who may have used his father’s pistol to carry out the crime. Earlier, a police statement had reported that eight children and a security guard were killed in the shooting at the Vladislav Ribnikar school in the Vrachar district that morning. Additionally, six children and a teacher were wounded and have been taken to an ambulance center and a children’s hospital.
